Fresh this week. Last restocked Mar 4.
Autograph Tree (Clusia rosea) is a robust tropical evergreen tree native to the Caribbean and South Florida, with thick leathery leaves, pink-and-white flowers, and excellent salt tolerance. It is reliably hardy only in zones 10–12; in NE Florida's zone 9b it sustains significant freeze damage at temperatures near 30°F and is not recommended for permanent landscape planting. Starting at $14.95.

Retains foliage through winter. Can be planted in mild winter periods.
Autograph tree grows in full sun to partial shade, but performs best in full sun in NE Florida. It is cold-sensitive and reliably hardy only in zone 10+; in zone 9b it suffers freeze damage at temperatures near 30°F and should not be used as a permanent landscape tree without cold protection.
Once established, autograph tree is moderately drought tolerant and requires only occasional deep watering in NE Florida. However, because this species is rated for zone 10, any stressed plant going into winter cold is more vulnerable to freeze damage.
Autograph tree tolerates sandy, alkaline, and coastal soils with excellent salt and wind tolerance. Fertilize lightly with a balanced palm/tropical fertilizer in spring and summer. In zone 9b, plant only in the warmest, most frost-sheltered microclimates; replace with a zone-9b-rated tree for reliable results.
