Fresh this week. Last restocked Jun 15.
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a drought-tolerant perennial with feathery aromatic foliage and flat-topped flower clusters in white, yellow, pink, or red, blooming from spring through summer. It performs best in full sun with excellent drainage in NE Florida; choose heat-tolerant cultivars for best persistence through zone 9b's humid summers. Starting at $3.50.

May lose some foliage in cold snaps.
Yarrow requires full sun — 6 or more hours of direct sunlight daily — for compact upright growth and peak flowering; in NE Florida's humid climate, full sun also improves air circulation and reduces powdery mildew, which is a significant disease risk in shaded or crowded conditions.
Yarrow is drought tolerant once established; water sparingly and allow the soil to dry between waterings. In NE Florida's wet season (June–September), excellent drainage is critical — yarrow will develop root and crown rot in soggy soils, which is its greatest threat in zone 9b.
Plant yarrow in well-drained sandy or loamy soil of average to low fertility; it performs better in lean soils — rich, moist soils cause floppy stems and reduced blooming. Fertilize lightly or not at all; a thin layer of compost worked in at planting is generally sufficient for NE Florida conditions.
