Blanket flower (Gaillardia pulchella) is a Florida-adapted annual or short-lived perennial wildflower bearing bold, daisy-like blooms in vivid red, orange, and yellow throughout the warm season. Exceptionally heat- and drought-tolerant in NE Florida's sandy soils, it reseeds readily and is a top choice for hot, sunny native and coastal landscapes.
