Majesty Palm (Ravenea rivularis) is a graceful, solitary palm from Madagascar with arching dark-green pinnate fronds and a tapering trunk. Best suited for zone 10–11 but manageable in protected zone 9b sites, it is widely grown in NE-Florida landscapes and large containers for its classic tropical silhouette.

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic loam amended with organic matter. Apply a palm-specific slow-release fertilizer (with magnesium and micronutrients) three times per year to prevent common deficiency symptoms in Florida soils.
