Fresh this week. Last restocked Jun 19.
Liriope (Liriope muscari) is a clumping, grass-like perennial from China and Japan with arching strap-shaped leaves and spikes of purple to white flowers in summer, followed by dark berry-like fruit. It is one of the most widely used low-maintenance groundcovers and border plants in warm-climate landscapes. Starting at $6.95.

Bloom season.
Ideal planting window.
Retains foliage through winter.
Liriope is extremely adaptable to light — it grows well in full sun, partial shade, or full shade, though in NE Florida's intense sun, afternoon shade prevents tip burn; it is one of the few plants that performs reliably under deep tree canopies.
Moderate water needs; once established, Liriope is moderately drought-tolerant. Water deeply but infrequently and avoid daily overhead irrigation, which promotes fungal disease in NE Florida's humid conditions.
Tolerates sandy, loam, or clay soils as long as drainage is adequate. Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer once in spring. Note: UF/IFAS rates Liriope muscari as moderate invasive risk in Florida; monitor for spread beyond planted areas.
