Crinum lily grows in full sun to part shade in NE Florida; partial shade is recommended for best performance as it prevents leaf scorch and produces vigorous foliage and flower stalks throughout the warm season.
Moderate drought tolerance once established; crinum lily tolerates both wet and dry periods making it very adaptable in NE Florida. Water regularly when newly planted and during extended dry spells.
Adaptable to sandy, loam, clay, and wet soils — a true Florida workhorse. Fertilize with a balanced slow-release fertilizer in spring and midsummer to support the large clumps. Divide overcrowded clumps in winter.
