Fresh this week. Last restocked Jun 25.
Lantana (Lantana camara) is a vigorous tropical shrub producing dense clusters of small flowers that shift color as they age. A major butterfly and pollinator nectar source, it thrives in NE Florida with full sun, heat, and dry conditions. Note: UF/IFAS recommends planting only certified sterile cultivars to prevent invasive spread into natural areas. Starting at $6.95.

Bloom season. Ideal planting window.
Retains foliage through winter.
Grow in full sun for best flowering and most compact growth. Lantana performs poorly in shade and will produce few blooms. In NE Florida it thrives in open, sunny beds and tolerates reflected heat.
Drought-tolerant once established; water regularly only during the first few weeks after planting. Mature plants need little supplemental irrigation in NE Florida and are very heat and drought tolerant.
Adaptable to NE Florida's sandy, well-drained soils. Fertilize lightly — excessive nitrogen reduces blooming. UF/IFAS recommends selecting only sterile, non-invasive cultivars (e.g., Bloomify™ series) to avoid ecological spread.
