Bloom season.
Ideal planting window.
Retains foliage through winter.
Serissa thrives with morning sun and afternoon shade; in Northeast Florida it can handle partial sun in cooler months, but shield from harsh afternoon sun in summer to prevent leaf drop and stress.
Keep consistently and evenly moist — never allow the root ball to dry out completely, as drought stress triggers immediate leaf drop. Avoid waterlogging; ensure well-drained soil. Do not mist while in bloom.
Prefers slightly acidic (pH 4.5–5.5), well-drained loamy soil. Fertilize every 4–6 weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength; reduce feeding in winter.
