Fresh this week. Last restocked Mar 11.
Ficus Audrey (Ficus benghalensis) is the Indian banyan tree, one of the world's largest trees by canopy spread, grown in containers as a striking houseplant. It features large, oval, velvety gray-green leaves with prominent cream veins and a smooth pale trunk, valued as a statement indoor plant. Starting at $99.95.
Good planting window.
Can be planted with extra attention to watering.
Ideal planting window.
Retains foliage through winter. May need protection below 25°F.
Provide bright indirect light indoors; a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. In NE Florida, container plants can be moved outdoors to a shaded or east-facing patio during warm months — protect from harsh direct sun which scorches leaves.
Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil dry out; keep consistently moist but never waterlogged. Yellow leaves indicate overwatering. NE Florida's warmth and humidity are beneficial; reduce watering slightly in winter.
Use a light, fast-draining potting mix amended with perlite. Fertilize monthly spring through early fall with a balanced organic fertilizer; cease fertilizing in winter. Repot every 2–3 years as needed.
