Chinese Evergreen tolerates low light to partial shade and is ideal for shaded NE Florida patios, screened porches, or indoor spaces; avoid direct sun which scorches the leaves.
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil dry out, then water thoroughly; NE Florida's humidity is beneficial, but avoid waterlogging as root rot is the primary risk.
Use a well-draining potting mix (peat-based with perlite) for containers; fertilize monthly in spring and summer with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half-strength.
