Mango (Mangifera indica) is a large tropical fruit tree native to South Asia, producing the world's most widely consumed tropical fruit — a fleshy drupe with sweet, aromatic flesh ranging from golden-yellow to orange-red. The tree features long, glossy lance-shaped leaves and panicles of small pink-white flowers. Starting at $125.00.

Bloom season. Retains foliage through winter. Can be planted in mild winter periods.
Plant mango in full sun with at least 6–8 hours of direct light daily; adequate sun is also critical for quick drying of flowers and fruit, which reduces anthracnose pressure in NE Florida's humid climate.
Water regularly to establish; once mature, mango is moderately drought-tolerant and needs only occasional irrigation. Reduce watering during the November–February bloom period — dry conditions encourage flowering and improve fruit set.
Mango tolerates NE Florida's sandy soil with a pH of 5.5–7.5; ensure excellent drainage. Fertilize young trees 3–4 times per year with a balanced fertilizer plus micronutrients (zinc, boron); mature trees need 2–3 applications per year.
