Angel's Trumpet is a heavy water user and wilts quickly in NE Florida's heat without consistent irrigation. Water deeply every 2–3 days during dry periods; mulch heavily to retain soil moisture. Container-grown plants may require daily watering in summer.
Plant in organically rich, well-drained sandy or loamy soil. In NE Florida, amend with compost to improve water retention. Feed with a balanced fertilizer every 2–3 weeks during the growing season to support the plant's rapid growth and large flower production.
