Rosa hybrida
Fresh this week. Last restocked Jun 25.
Climbing Roses are long-caned Rosa cultivars that can be trained along fences, trellises, arbors, and walls, producing abundant blooms in nearly every color from white and cream to deep red. Unlike true vining plants, their flexible canes are tied or woven to supports, and most modern varieties offer repeat bloom through the season. Starting at $6.95.

May lose some foliage in cold snaps.
Climbing roses require a minimum of 6 hours of direct sun daily. In NE Florida, full sun is essential for vigorous growth, repeat bloom, and reduced disease pressure — shade promotes fungal problems in our humid climate.
Water deeply and regularly, especially during establishment. Apply mulch to conserve soil moisture and moderate soil temperature. Avoid overhead irrigation — NE Florida humidity already favors fungal diseases; drip or soaker irrigation at the base is strongly preferred.
Amend sandy NE Florida soil with 2–4 inches of organic matter worked to 12-inch depth. Fertilize monthly spring through fall with a rose-specific fertilizer containing micronutrients. Prune canes in January–February to promote vigorous spring bloom.
