Light
Site mixed container combinations in full sun to part sun (4–6+ hours) in NE Florida. Most Proven Winners combinations are selected for heat tolerance; protect from intense afternoon sun during peak summer to extend display.
Water
Water containers thoroughly when the top inch of soil is dry; containers dry out faster in NE Florida's heat. Do not allow to sit in standing water, which rapidly leads to root rot in Florida's humid summers.
Soil & Fertilizer
Use a high-quality, well-draining container mix. Feed weekly with a water-soluble balanced fertilizer or use a slow-release granular at planting; containers require more frequent fertilization than in-ground plants. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong seasonal display.
