Actinidia deliciosa
Fresh this week. Last restocked Jun 19.
Kiwi vine (Actinidia deliciosa) is a vigorous deciduous vine from China bearing fragrant white flowers and large heart-shaped leaves, requiring both male and female plants for fruit production. It is not recommended for NE Florida zone 9b due to insufficient chilling hours, excessive summer heat, and high susceptibility to root-knot nematodes in sandy soils. Starting at $79.95.

Dormant — drops foliage.
Kiwi vine requires full sun (8+ hours) for fruit production. However, Actinidia deliciosa is not recommended for NE Florida zone 9b — summers are too hot and humid, winters lack sufficient chilling hours, and root-knot nematodes in sandy soils cause serious decline.
Requires moderate, consistent moisture and well-drained soil; cannot tolerate waterlogging. Note: Actinidia deliciosa is not well-adapted to NE Florida — the hot, low-elevation climate prevents reliable fruiting.
Prefers deep, fertile, well-drained loam (pH 6.0–6.5) with ample organic matter. In Florida's sandy soils, heavy amendment is required, but root-knot nematode pressure typically limits long-term viability of this species in zone 9b.
